Overview
- Toyota expanded its electric SUV line with the bZ4X Touring, a stretched, more rugged variant sold as the bZ Woodland in the United States.
- The AWD Touring delivers 280 kW (380 hp) and sprints 0–100 km/h in 4.5 seconds, which makes it Toyota’s most powerful model outside its GR performance line.
- The FWD and AWD versions share a 74.7 kWh battery, with WLTP range up to 591 km for FWD and up to 528 km for AWD, and DC fast charging from 10% to 80% in about 28–30 minutes at roughly 150 kW.
- The body extends 140 mm behind the C-pillar for 669 liters of cargo space, towing is rated at 1,500 kg for AWD and 750 kg for FWD, and off-road aids include X-MODE, Grip Control and 500 mm wading depth.
- UK sales open in June with deliveries from July, pricing starts at £45,995 for FWD and £51,695 for AWD, the US bZ Woodland starts at $45,300 with an EPA-estimated range up to 281 miles, and Toyota backs the pack with battery health cover up to 10 years or 1,000,000 km.
