- Select 2026 RAV4 trims now support Apple’s digital car key, as shown on Toyota’s site and by an owner report, with no broader Toyota lineup yet confirmed.
- Toyota’s implementation uses Ultra Wideband for walk-up unlock and start, working with iPhone 11 or newer or Apple Watch Series 6 or newer.
- Compatibility explicitly excludes iPhone SE (2nd and 3rd generation) and iPhone 16e despite the general iPhone 11-or-newer requirement.
- In the United States, the feature requires a Toyota Remote Connect plan priced around $15 per month after a one-year trial on new vehicles.
- In Canada, RAV4 buyers receive a three-year Remote Connect trial before paying $9.95 CAD per month or $99.95 CAD per year, and Apple’s official Car Key list has not yet added the RAV4.
