Overview
- Dylan Davis, 27, of Mantua, was arrested after Monday's crash at Delsea Drive and Salina Road, where officers were called around 1:49 p.m.
- Minutes earlier, a Riehl's Towing driver had stopped near Egg Harbor Road to load a vehicle when a man jumped into the flatbed and drove off.
- Police say the driver threw the employee from the truck, then drove about a mile, crossed into oncoming traffic, and hit two vehicles.
- The two other drivers went to local hospitals for treatment, and the towing worker was injured in the fall.
- Police charged Davis with first-degree carjacking and DWI and obtained a warrant for a blood draw performed at Cooper University Hospital as the investigation continues.
