Tottenham Complete Signing of Norway Goalkeeper Selma Panengstuen

The former SK Brann starter will join a squad undergoing an active summer rebuild and reunite with coach Martin Ho to add goalkeeping depth.

Tottenham announced on Tuesday that they have completed the transfer of 23-year-old Norwegian goalkeeper Selma Panengstuen, with the club not disclosing the length of her contract.
Panengstuen rose to prominence at SK Brann, starting all 27 league games in the 2025 title season and keeping 18 clean sheets as Brann won the Toppserien.
She has senior Norway experience, making her international debut in June 2025 and featuring in European competition qualifiers during the 2025 season.
Manager Martin Ho, who previously coached her at Brann, praised her shot-stopping, communication and athleticism and said she has outstanding potential to improve the squad’s goalkeeping options.
The signing is Spurs’ fifth of the summer and comes with squad changes already underway, including the sale of goalkeeper Eleanor Heeps to Brighton, which reshapes playing and development opportunities for both players.
