- TotalEnergies EP Congo, which disclosed the Moho G find Monday, said the MHNM-6 well hit about 160 meters of hydrocarbons in good-quality Albian rock.
- The company says Moho G plus the nearby Moho F discovery could hold close to 100 million barrels of recoverable resources.
- The operator plans a tie-back to existing Moho facilities to speed first output and cut spending after running an extensive data and sampling program to map the subsurface.
- The Moho hub already runs the Alima and Likouf floating production units that produce about 90,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day on a gross basis.
- TotalEnergies operates the license with a 63.5% stake, alongside Trident Energy at 21.5% and Congo’s state oil company SNPC at 15%.
