  • Witnesses reported two men exiting a white Honda CR‑V around 4:29–4:30 a.m., firing a handgun at the front of the building, then fleeing south on University Avenue.
  • Officers responding at about 5:29 a.m. recovered shell casings and documented damage to the glass and door, with no injuries reported inside the heavily fortified facility.
  • Toronto’s Integrated Gun & Gang Task Force is leading the case with RCMP INSET engaged, working alongside CSIS and U.S. partners including the FBI.
  • Security has been reinforced at U.S. and Israeli diplomatic sites in Toronto and at embassies in Ottawa, and officials say there is no indication of an ongoing threat to the public.
