Tori Spelling and Seven Children Hospitalized After Temecula Car Crash

Deputies are investigating reports that a speeding driver ran a red light.

Overview

  • Tori Spelling, who was driving in Temecula with four of her children and three of their friends, was struck Thursday after another car allegedly ran a red light at high speed.
  • Deputies responding around 5:44 p.m. to the 28000 block of Rancho California Road found two damaged vehicles and had all occupants medically evaluated at the scene.
  • Spelling and the seven children were taken to local hospitals in three ambulances and treated for cuts, bruises, contusions and possible concussions.
  • The Riverside County Sheriff's Office says no arrests were made at the scene and the cause of the collision remains under investigation.
  • The family was later released from care and spent Easter together while recovering, according to People, as photos and witnesses indicated the other car had heavier front-end damage than Spelling’s SUV.
