Overview
- The National Fish and Chip Awards 2026 will crown the Takeaway of the Year this evening at Park Plaza Westminster Bridge in London.
- Organisers published the full finalist lineup: Bells Fish and Chips (Framwellgate, Durham), The Fish Inn (Clacton-on-Sea, Essex), Brockley’s Rock (London), Harrison’s Fish & Chip Co. (Oxford), Mister C’s (Selby), Shaws Fish and Chips (Barnsley), The Fish Bank (Sherburn-in-Elmet), The Scrap Box (York), Garioch Fish Bar (Inverurie) and The Fish Works (Largs).
- Yorkshire leads the field with four shortlisted shops, followed by Scotland with two, with London, Oxford, Essex and Durham each represented by one finalist.
- Scotland’s Garioch Fish Bar and The Fish Works are both in the running for Takeaway of the Year, with each also shortlisted for Field to Frier, and The Fish Works additionally recognised in Environment and Sustainable Business.
- Run by the National Federation of Fish Friers since 1988, the awards span 14 categories and highlight product quality, training, customer service and environmental sustainability across the industry.
