Overview
- Stewart, 54, will race Feb. 13 in the Truck Series season opener at Daytona for Kaulig Racing as the first driver in Ram’s new Free Agent program.
- It will be his first NASCAR national-series start since 2016 and his first Truck race since 2005; he has two Truck victories in six starts.
- Ram is re-entering the Truck Series with Kaulig fielding five entries in 2026, including full-time seats for Brenden “Butterbean” Queen, Daniel Dye and Justin Haley.
- Kaulig’s No. 25 will feature a rotating cast of drivers, while a separate “Race For The Seat” reality competition will award another full-time ride.
- Stewart said he chose Daytona because he has never driven a truck there and called the program a way to stay sharp, as Ram and Kaulig leaders framed his return as a fan-focused attention driver.
