  • London retained the title of the slowest capital for a third year, with drivers losing about 141 hours to rush-hour delays and the worst day recorded on September 10, 2025, during Underground strikes.
  • TomTom ranked Mexico City No. 1 for congestion worldwide, followed by Bengaluru at No. 2, where a 10 km trip took 36 minutes 9 seconds and annual time lost reached 168 hours.
  • Bengaluru’s average congestion level hit 74.4% with rush-hour speeds dropping to 13.9 km/h, and its peak 2025 gridlock came on May 17 when congestion reached 101%.
  • Pune entered the global top five with a 71.1% congestion level, an average 33 minutes 20 seconds for 10 km, and roughly 152 hours lost in rush-hour traffic across the year.
