- Oriental Land Co. officially announced on Thursday, August 13, 2026, that the rebuilt indoor coaster will be called Space Mountain Earthrise and the Wreck‑It Ralph attraction will be Sugar Rush: Sweet Rescue.
- The company confirmed the project carries an approximate ¥100 billion price tag and will remake Tomorrowland’s center as Tomorrowland Plaza with new shops and food venues.
- Space Mountain Earthrise is a complete rebuild with new architecture, a newly developed ride system, an Earth launch sequence, immersive theatrical lighting and the first onboard audio system on a Tokyo Disney Resort coaster.
- Sugar Rush: Sweet Rescue will replace Buzz Lightyear’s Astro Blasters as an indoor interactive experience where guests team with Ralph and Vanellope to defeat in‑game “Sugar Bugs” using new interactive technology, and it is scheduled to open in spring 2027.
