Tokyo Disney Restricts Happy Entry for Fall, Favoring Premium Hotel Guests

Tokyo Disney says the move is intended to ease crowding around new attractions on peak dates.

Overview

  • Tokyo Disney Resort updated its Happy Entry calendar on Tuesday and limited which hotel guests may enter Tokyo Disneyland before regular opening on select high-demand fall dates.
  • On September 15, 16, 19 and October 31, 2026 only guests of Tokyo DisneySea Fantasy Springs Hotel Grand Chateau and Tokyo Disneyland Hotel may use Happy Entry at Tokyo Disneyland while guests at MiraCosta, Fantasy Chateau and Tokyo Disney Celebration Hotel are excluded.
  • Guests at the resort’s two lowest-tier hotels, Toy Story Hotel and Tokyo Disney Celebration Hotel, are permanently barred from using Happy Entry to access Tokyo DisneySea.
  • Happy Entry does not generally allow early ride access; eligible guests may enter before opening to explore, take photos, shop, access limited guest services, and buy or secure Disney Premier Access or Standby Passes, and the perk cannot be used on a guest’s check-in day.
  • The resort has published the schedule only through October 31, 2026, and says further date-specific restrictions are likely for November and December as it manages higher demand from new lands and attractions.
