Tokyo Disney Resort Suspends Nightly Fireworks for Months

The pause strips the resort of its standard nightly spectacle for months, prompting questions about programming choices and guest experience.

Overview

  • Sky Full of Colors had its last scheduled performance on June 14, and the fireworks will be suspended from June 15 through September 14 before a brief return and a second pause from September 25 through November 27.
  • The two scheduled breaks total roughly five months in 2026 without the resort’s regular fireworks offering, leaving long evening gaps for many summer and autumn visitors.
  • Tokyo Disneyland’s projection‑mapping show Reach for the Stars is listed through September 14 as its final scheduled performance, which could leave the resort without its main nighttime fireworks and projection spectacular after that date.
  • From July 1 through September 14 the resort will sell a limited 1‑Day Park Hopper Passport that allows after‑11 a.m. hopping and, for the first time, lets Park Hopper holders enter Tokyo DisneySea via the Fantasy Springs entrance.
  • Tokyo Disney Resort has not given an official reason for this year’s extended pauses; seasonal shows such as Night High Halloween and Starbright Christmas are expected to fill some gaps and the changes may affect crowd flow, evening dining and guest plans.
