Tokyo Disney Resort Pauses Nighttime Fireworks for Months

Guests will lose the resort’s regular fireworks for roughly five months, creating a multi-month gap in its headline nighttime entertainment.

Overview

  • Sky Full of Colors will stage its final scheduled performance on June 14 and then be suspended from June 15 through September 14, with a second pause set from September 25 to November 27.
  • Tokyo Disneyland’s projection‑mapping show Reach for the Stars is currently scheduled to run through September 14, a date that is listed as its final performance.
  • The resort will offer a limited 1‑Day Park Hopper Passport from July 1 to September 14 and, for the first time, allow Park Hopper guests to enter Tokyo DisneySea via the Fantasy Springs entrance to ease summer access.
  • Tokyo Disney Resort has not given a specific public reason for the extended fireworks breaks, though pausing fireworks in summer is a recurring practice at the resort.
  • Without its regular fireworks and potentially without the projection show after mid‑September, the resort will lean on seasonal productions such as Night High Halloween and Starbright Christmas and may change guest flow and schedule planning for summer visitors.
