- Organizers announced Wednesday that the Tobacco Road Classic will be played on Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2026, at First Horizon Coliseum in Greensboro and that the agreement runs two years with a return game in 2027.
- UNC formally posted the matchup on its completed 2026-27 nonconference schedule on Aug. 21 and event partners said tickets will go on sale Sept. 10 through the Coliseum ticket office and Ticketmaster.
