- Mayor Ismael Burgueño Ruiz inaugurated the first units in La Mesa, Sánchez Taboada and Playas de Tijuana, and services began this week.
- The clinics offer unlimited general medical consultations, dental care including cleanings and extractions, optometry exams with delivery of two pairs of prescription lenses per year, and laboratory tests such as blood work and Papanicolaou with up to six services annually.
- Patients can receive up to three medications per month from a basic pharmacy at no cost under the program’s benefits package.
- Operating hours are Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
- Care is first-come with licensed staff and expected waits of 15–20 minutes, and registration requires CURP, INE and a proof of address dated within the last three months.
