Three Men Charged With Murder of Teen in Poole

Prosecutors have added separate knife plus drugs charges as the case moves to Crown Court under a continuing Dorset Police major crime probe.

Overview

  • The 18-year-old victim, Kyeron Wheeler, suffered a severe stab wound and later died at Poole Hospital after being found injured on Longfleet Road following an incident on Friday, June 19.
  • Dorset Police say the suspected stabbing occurred in Dale Close and that the injured teenager was then driven to Longfleet Road near the hospital.
  • Police charged three men — Dluwadamilare Aremu, 22, of Bletchley; Trevor Gonzo, 22, of London; and Callum Roberts, 20, of Blandford — in connection with the death.
  • Each defendant faces murder, possession of a bladed article, counts for acquiring or using criminal property (a stolen car) and two counts of possession with intent to supply class A drugs, with Roberts facing an extra knife-possession count.
  • The three appeared by live link at magistrates on Tuesday, June 23, the case was sent to Winchester Crown Court for a further hearing on June 24, and Dorset Police say the inquiry remains complex, fast-moving and keeping the family updated.
