Overview
- Operation Kiya in Udhampur ended with two JeM militants killed after a 20-hour joint assault on a natural cave in the Jophar/Jaffer forest.
- Officials identified one of the slain as Rubani alias Abu Mavia, a senior JeM commander active in the area, with an associate reported as Zubair.
- Recovered weapons included an AK-47 and an M4 carbine, and the White Knight Corps said the area remains under surveillance after the operation.
