Overview
- Orange County deputies publicly named Drake Lee Milam, Porsche Bancroft (reported also as Portia Bancroft) and Angela Garrett and obtained arrest and full-extradition warrants after releasing surveillance and statements in mid-August.
- Investigators have linked the trio to about 20 cemetery thefts in Central Florida from March to April 2026 that together account for more than $35,000 in stolen property.
- Authorities say the suspects traveled through at least nine states in the eastern half of the country, breaking into mausoleum niches that hold urns and removing jewelry and other family heirlooms.
- Detectives state surveillance footage captured some of the thefts and that the suspects have been identified but not located, and Central Florida Crimeline is offering up to $5,000 for tips and can be reached at 1-800-423-TIPS.
- Families are being urged to check niche memorials for missing items as the Florida Attorney General’s Office of Statewide Prosecution coordinates efforts and investigators pursue additional possible victims nationwide.
