- San Francisco officers on patrol near Market and Jones heard gunfire at about 2:58 p.m. on Monday and found a person who had been shot.
- The wounded victim was treated on scene by officers and paramedics and taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.
- Police arrested Donovan Redmond Hayes, 22; Deandre Gippson, 30; and Terry Brown, 26 during separate operations and booked them on charges that include attempted murder, firearm offenses, weapons possession, drug possession, and probation violations.
- Officers seized a loaded firearm during the arrests, later obtained a search warrant for an apartment on the 100 block of Waller Street, and say two suspects were caught after a brief foot chase when they left that building.
