Overview
- A large street fight on The Strand in Longton on Saturday, June 6, escalated into violence involving metal bars and bats and left two people with multiple stab wounds.
- Multiple ambulances and at least two air ambulances attended the scene and the two victims were taken to the Royal Stoke University Hospital where they remain in stable condition.
- Two men, Aldo Hala, 22, and Konstandin Kola, 28, have been charged with multiple Section 18 wounding counts and violent disorder and are due to appear in magistrates' court.
- Detectives arrested a 26-year-old Stoke-on-Trent man on suspicion of attempted murder and violent disorder before later granting him bail with conditions as inquiries continue.
- Officers are searching for a fourth suspect described as white, bald and about 5ft 8ins in black joggers, and are urging witnesses and businesses to provide CCTV or information to help the investigation.
