Overview
- ThirdBite will take place on Sunday, 19 July, at Wylam Brewery in Newcastle as part of the BiteBack charity festival series.
- Confirmed chefs are Lisa Goodwin-Allen (Northcote), Paul Leonard (Forest Side, also a Michelin Green Star holder), Stuart Ralston (Lyla), and James Knappett (Kitchen Table, two Michelin stars).
- The event is free to attend, with £10 dish tokens required for purchases; tokens must be bought in advance, with sales due to open soon.
- Each chef will serve 500 portions of a street‑food dish, offering a casual showcase of Michelin‑level cooking.
- All proceeds go to Cancer Research UK; BiteBack events have raised just under £200,000 to date, including nearly £117,000 last year, and organisers say up to 20 chefs are due to take part in total.
