Thick as Thieves Sets May 20 PC Launch After PvP Pivot

The studio is pitching a compact, replayable start from veteran immersive-sim designers.

Overview

  • A new gameplay trailer, shown Thursday during the Triple-i Initiative showcase, confirmed a May 20 release on Steam.
  • The game is a first-person stealth heist immersive sim set in Kilcairn, an alternate 1910s Scottish city, playable solo or in two-player co-op.
  • At launch it includes two thieves, two dynamic maps, 16 contracts, six pieces of gear, and difficulty options that change each level’s layout.
  • OtherSide dropped the original PvPvE plan after internal playtests favored solo and co-op, and a developer indicated PvPvE could return later.
  • PC is locked for May 20 through Steam, while previously announced PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S versions have no release date yet.
