Thiago Brennand Moved From Tremembé to Guarulhos Prison for Sex-Crime Convicts

Overview

• São Paulo’s prison authority confirmed on November 12 that Brennand left P2 de Tremembé for Penitenciária I de Guarulhos at the request of him and his defense.
• The Guarulhos facility holds people convicted of sexual crimes and, according to SAP data published Wednesday, housed 2,026 inmates against a capacity of 1,059, with Brennand kept in the closed regime.
• His lawyer said the move was sought to keep him closer to his son in São Paulo and to his legal team.
