Overview

  • The Hundred, which begins on Tuesday July 21, will stage simultaneous women's and men's double-headers at the same venues and run through August 16 with single-day tickets granting access to both matches.
  • Organisers have introduced a combined trophy that adds each franchise's men's and women's points totals so that one club wins an overall prize in addition to separate men’s and women’s titles.
  • All eight franchises now have overseas investors following late-2025 sales that valued the set north of £975m and generated more than £500m earmarked for reinvestment into English and Welsh cricket.
  • The switch to an auction earlier in 2026 produced large contracts and a bigger salary pool, teams may field four overseas players per XI, and high-profile signings included James Coles (£390k) and Beth Mooney and Sophie Devine (£210k each).
  • Sky Sports will show every match live, the BBC will air selected games, venues and fixtures are largely confirmed but the exact locations and timings for the Eliminator and Final remain to be announced.
