The Guild: Europa 1410 Sets Steam Early Access Launch for July 16

A Steam Next Fest demo on June 15 will preview a UE5-powered reboot that aims to combine trade, city politics and dynasty mechanics.

Overview

  • Publisher THQ Nordic and developer Ashborne Games confirmed Wednesday that The Guild: Europa 1410 will enter Early Access on Steam on July 16, 2026.
  • A free playable demo will be available during Steam Next Fest on June 15 to let players try the game ahead of Early Access.
  • The initial Early Access build will let players explore four historical cities—Kuttenberg, Nuremberg, Graz, and Wroclaw—and choose from 11 distinct professions.
  • The game features explicit political and dynasty systems, including city-level votes and office privileges, eight social titles from Burgher to Prince, and family mechanics such as marriage and heirs.
  • Ashborne describes the project as a modern overhaul built on Unreal Engine 5 that will include reported multiplayer for up to 12 players and undergo further content and balance updates during Early Access.
