- The Hollywood Reporter reported Friday that The Arena has commissioned David S. Goyer to write a Fatal Fury feature that will center on brothers Terry and Andy Bogard.
- The same report says The Arena is developing a separate Geese origin film with Grant Singer attached to write and direct.
- Robert Kirkman’s Skybound is developing an animated prequel called Fatal Fury: The Vow that will follow the Bogards during their training years, and some reports say Arena aims to place the series on YouTube though that distribution plan is not fully confirmed.
- All projects are in early development with scripts being commissioned, no release dates announced, and Arena is said to be expanding the slate to include other SNK properties such as Metal Slug, Samurai Shodown and The Art of Fighting with a webtoon in development by Brandon Chen.
