Overview
- Deputies responded after a 911 call on Sunday, June 21, at a home in Azle and found an adult woman with a gunshot wound; first responders performed CPR but she was pronounced dead at the scene.

- Charles Brooks, 61, was arrested and charged with first-degree murder and is being held at the Parker County Jail on a $2 million bond set by Justice of the Peace Kelvin Miles.
