Temple Student Killed on Kelly Drive in Hit-and-Run

Police seek public help to locate a vehicle that dragged a motorcyclist more than a mile.

  • The crash that killed 20-year-old Bryce Wolfe happened June 24 when police say a white SUV made an illegal turn, crossed into his lane and struck his motorcycle.
  • Officers say the SUV kept driving after the collision and dragged Wolfe for more than one mile before he was dislodged near Fountain Green Drive.
  • Wolfe, an actuarial science student at Temple’s Fox School of Business and a Motorcycle Safety Foundation instructor, was taken to Penn Presbyterian with head and leg injuries and later died.
  • Police are asking residents and local body shops to report sightings of a white SUV with driver-side damage or recent repairs and are taking tips at 215-685-3181 and 215-686-TIPS.
  • Temple has identified Wolfe, set up a GoFundMe for the family, and announced a $10,000 anonymous reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction while the Crash Investigation Division continues its probe.
