- The Church opened the new Temple Square Visitors’ Center in Salt Lake City on Monday, offering free daily entry from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and a bookable 30-minute “Inside the Temple” tour with tickets released in batches starting June 1.
- A renovation update reported the Salt Lake Temple’s new copper roof is fully installed, which will darken within a year before developing a natural green patina.
- Inside the temple, crews are installing chandeliers in the celestial room and finishing sealing rooms, staircase railings, stone paving, decorative fencing and parquet flooring.
- The Church has set a public open house for April 5 through Oct. 1, 2027, with daily tours before the temple is rededicated.
- Temple Square social media is recruiting volunteers for the 2027 celebration, with applications opening in June for people 16 and older from all backgrounds.
