Teletón Perú Launches National Fundraiser With S/9.17 Million Goal

The campaign seeks to secure continuity of therapy services for current patients while extending access for more families.

Overview

  • Fundación Teletón Perú officially unveiled Teletón 2026 this week, setting a target of S/9,168,510 and scheduling the traditional 26-hour fundraising marathon for September 11–12.
  • The foundation says the funds will maintain ongoing therapies, expand beneficiary coverage from roughly 700 to more than 1,000 children, and raise annual rehabilitation attendances toward a target above 180,000.
  • Donations are already open through Yape, the BCP mobile donations button and teleton.pe, with in-person collection boxes to open at Plaza Vea, Vivanda, Mass, Makro and Promart starting August 1.
  • As a digital push, Teletón premiered its first web series featuring children who use its centers alongside national personalities and relaunched the Digital Ambassadors influencer program that raised over S/1.1 million last year.
  • The 2025 baseline shows the foundation provided care to more than 700 children and delivered over 120,000 rehabilitation attendances, making broad public and corporate participation essential to meet the 2026 goal and expand access to services.
