Telangana Health University VC Resignation Accepted After Exam-Irregularity Allegations

• The Raj Bhavan said Governor Jishnu Dev Varma accepted Dr Nandakumar Reddy’s resignation on Saturday after he submitted it to the chief secretary.

• Officials reported that submitted probe findings confirmed discrepancies, including claims of revaluation where only recounting is prescribed, irregular inspections, and ad hoc appointments.
• Dr Reddy denied wrongdoing, said revaluation was done for one complainant student, and stated he is ready to face any investigation.
• Postgraduate medicos reported an unusually high 11% failure rate this session and alleged software-related evaluation issues, urging re-evaluation or grace marks as further inquiries are considered.
