  • The accident insurance promises ₹1.2 crore for accidental death and ₹10 lakh for natural death up to age 60, with no premium payable by employees or pensioners.
  • The no-premium insurance will cover 7.57 lakh government employees and pensioners, implemented through banks using a model piloted at Singareni and Transco.
  • The cashless Employees Health Scheme will cover about 17.07 lakh beneficiaries across government facilities and 652 empanelled private hospitals, funded by matched contributions for a ₹1,056 crore annual outlay.
  • Coverage under EHS spans 1,998 procedures, accessed via Digital Health Employee Cards.
  • The Cabinet also moved to convert TVVP into the Directorate of Secondary Health and set up a committee under the Health Minister to study hospital administration reforms.
