Teenager Stabbed in Bradford Block of Flats

Bradford CID has appealed for witnesses and footage to help identify masked suspects while the injured 19-year-old remains in hospital.

Overview

  • Officers were called by the ambulance service at 11.19pm on Thursday 28 May after a man was found with stab injuries in the entrance hallway of flats on Mannville Terrace.
  • Police say the 19-year-old had been chased into the communal entrance immediately before the attack and was taken to hospital in a serious condition.
  • Witnesses described the attackers as wearing face masks with one in dark clothing and another in a grey tracksuit, and they fled the scene heading towards Morley Street.
  • Bradford CID has issued a public appeal for anyone who saw the suspects entering at about 11.10pm or leaving between about 11.10pm and 11.30pm to contact 101, the force live chat or Crimestoppers using crime reference 13260301813; no arrests have been reported.
  • Emergency services including an air ambulance attended the scene and local officials have urged residents to come forward with information to help investigators and support the victim’s family.
