Teenager Dead, Two Critical After Car Hits Ipswich Motorway Underpass in Goodna

  • A 16-year-old rear passenger from Redbank Plains died after being taken to hospital.
  • The 17-year-old driver from Collingwood Park and a 16-year-old passenger from Redbank suffered life‑threatening injuries and were taken to Princess Alexandra and Royal Brisbane and Women’s hospitals.
  • Preliminary police inquiries indicate the Mitsubishi Lancer crossed onto the wrong side of Brisbane Road before striking the underpass wall.
