Overview
- A 14-year-old boy was shot in the left foot during a teen gathering near Washington and Wabash and was taken to Lurie Children’s Hospital in fair condition.

- Nine shell casings were recovered next to the woman, her identity and time of death remain undetermined pending an autopsy, and the location falls within an area that previously used gunshot alerts discontinued by the city on Sept. 23, 2024.
