Overview
- A stolen Hyundai being followed by an Abington officer left the road and struck a tree near 877 Washington Street Wednesday morning after a pursuit that lasted roughly 0.7 miles and a few minutes.
- The driver was identified by the district attorney’s office as 17-year-old Sebastian Hamilton and was pronounced dead at the scene.
- Four teenage passengers, ages roughly 14 to 17, were seriously hurt; one female passenger was ejected and several were transferred to Boston hospitals for critical care.
