Teen Charged After Quadbike Gang's Overnight Attacks in Ormesby and Grangetown

  • Police link a group of about 10–15 young men on quadbikes to a series of assaults and criminal damage across Ormesby, Grangetown and Redcar overnight on January 10–11.
  • Reported incidents include a 53-year-old woman knocked over on Norham Walk, two men aged 45 and 36 injured at Tasties on Allendale Road, and a stabbing at an address on Slater Walk.
  • A worker at Goji’s Pizza in Redcar was threatened, patrols have been increased in affected areas, and officers are seeking additional victims, witnesses and video, with anonymous tips accepted via Crimestoppers.
