Overview
- Police and paramedics responded after a neighbour reported hearing a woman scream and discovered a man dead inside a Lisnahull Road home on Saturday.
- An eight-year-old girl who was badly hurt at the scene was given on-scene first aid by officers and paramedics and is now in a stable condition in hospital.
- A 16-year-old was arrested at the scene and has been formally charged with murder, two counts of attempted murder and threats to kill; he is due to appear at Omagh Magistrates' Court.
- The property remains cordoned off while the PSNI Major Investigation Team carries out forensic examinations and a post-mortem is planned to formally establish the cause of death.
