Authorities say he remains detained pending a Feb. 18 court date.

Overview

  • The DuPage County Sheriff’s Office said Nedas Revuckas, 19, was medically cleared Sunday and returned to the county correctional facility.
  • He was hospitalized after sustaining critical injuries in his jail housing unit Thursday, which a preliminary review determined were self-inflicted with no other individuals involved.
  • Revuckas is charged with six counts of first-degree murder, intentional homicide of an unborn child, aggravated arson, armed robbery and aggravated cruelty to animals.
  • Prosecutors say he confessed in custody and led police to discarded bloody clothing after a dispute linked to a Facebook Marketplace pickup truck sale.
