Team WRT Confirms Valentino Rossi’s 2026 GT World Challenge Europe Return With BMW

The switch ends his WEC campaign to reunite him with BMW-supported teammates from the Junior Team pathway.

Overview

WRT will run Rossi in the #46 BMW M4 GT3 EVO, pairing him with Max Hesse for the Sprint Cup.
Dan Harper will join Rossi and Hesse for Endurance Cup rounds, with the season opening at Paul Ricard on April 11–12.
The entry is part of a four-car WRT program for 2026, with the remaining lineups to be announced.
Rossi brings three GT World Challenge Sprint wins at Misano, while Hesse and Harper arrive as IMSA Michelin Endurance Cup title winners with Paul Miller Racing.
Rossi will not contest the 2026 FIA WEC and is also slated to race the Bathurst 12 Hour with WRT.
