Taylen Green Sets QB Jump Records, Clocks Unofficial 4.37 at NFL Combine

The breakout showing puts fresh focus on a developmental prospect pending official 40 timing.

Overview

  • The Arkansas quarterback posted a 43.5-inch vertical and an 11-2 broad jump, surpassing Anthony Richardson’s previous quarterback combine marks.
  • His 4.37-second 40-yard dash is unofficial and, if confirmed, would be the second-fastest by a quarterback at the combine behind Reggie McNeal’s 4.35 in 2006.
  • After throwing for 2,714 yards and 19 touchdowns and rushing for 777 yards and eight scores in 2025, he enters evaluations with Bleacher Report ranking him the No. 9 quarterback and No. 164 overall prospect.
  • NFL Network’s Charles Davis reported Green has not been asked to work out at receiver and that he would decline a position switch.
  • Arkansas running back Mike Washington Jr. also stood out with a 4.33 40-yard dash, a 39-inch vertical and a 10-8 broad jump.
