Overview
- Tata Motors, which launched the Pure+ PS on Friday, set the ex-showroom Delhi entry price at Rs 9.59 lakh with variant prices running up to Rs 11.19 lakh for the diesel AMT.
- The new trim adds a voice-assisted panoramic sunroof plus a 10.25-inch Harman touchscreen, a six-speaker audio system, cruise control, auto LED headlamps, rain-sensing wipers and an HD rear-view camera.
- Buyers can choose petrol, diesel or twin-cylinder iCNG powertrains, with manual and AMT gearboxes offered where applicable.
- By introducing the sunroof on Pure+ PS, Tata makes the feature about Rs 1.73 lakh cheaper than before, when it first appeared from the higher Creative+ PS trim.
- Tata paired the launch with news that Nexon has crossed 1 million units in India and reported an expanded lineup of 66 ICE variants and 79 total including EVs, underscoring its granular variant strategy in a crowded sub-4m SUV market.
