Tango Reports 92% Response Rate for Vopimetostat‑Daraxonrasib in Pancreatic Cancer

The company says the result supports moving the combination into a Phase 3 trial for first‑line MTAP‑deleted pancreatic cancer pending regulator discussions.

Overview

  • Tango disclosed early‑phase data on Monday that showed a 92% objective response rate in 11 of 12 evaluable patients treated with vopimetostat plus Revolution Medicines’ daraxonrasib.
  • The daraxonrasib arm also achieved a 100% disease control rate and about 90% of patients were progression free at six months as of the May 28 data cutoff.
  • A second arm pairing vopimetostat with Revolution’s zoldonrasib produced a 52% objective response rate in 27 evaluable pancreatic cancer patients and a 74% six‑month progression‑free rate.
  • Both combinations were reported to be generally well tolerated with mostly Grade 1–2 side effects, no Grade 4–5 events, and no treatment discontinuations due to toxicity.
  • Tango plans to finalize a Phase 3 design for the daraxonrasib combination in the second half of 2026 and the announcement sent TNGX stock up roughly 45% in premarket trading.
