Taco Bell Launches First Cold Brew Line at Select Live Más Cafés

The limited rollout is designed to test premium coffee as a higher-margin growth driver for the chain.

Overview

  • Taco Bell rolled out its first Cold Brew lineup on Thursday, May 21, 2026 at Live Más Café locations in Houston, Dallas, Las Vegas and Southern California.
  • The permanent café menu adds one signature Cold Brew and three flavored Cold Foams — Purple Velvet Cream, Caramel Dulce Cream and Vanilla Cream — served in 16-ounce and 20-ounce sizes.
  • The coffee uses a proprietary medium/dark Arabica blend and slow cold extraction for a low-acid profile and is priced at about $4.59 for 16 ounces and $4.99 for 20 ounces at participating cafés.
  • Taco Bell is using converted Live Más Café sites and franchise partners to test demand after reporting that those locations sell roughly 25% more beverages and deliver double-digit sales growth versus standard Taco Bell restaurants.
  • The rollout supports a push to build a $5 billion beverage business by 2030 and will be followed by a May 30 promotional event as the company gauges whether to expand the drinks more widely into a competitive cold-brew market.
