Overview
- Opening night in São Paulo was staged in a renovated historic train station and marked the sixth stop on the Choir’s Songs of Hope world tour.
- Performances move to Ginásio do Ibirapuera from Feb. 27 to March 1, returning to the venue the Choir last used in Brazil in 1981.
- The Saturday concert on Feb. 28 will stream live on the Choir’s YouTube channel at 6 p.m. BRT (2 p.m. MST), with more than 500 watch parties planned across Brazil.
- The tour coincides with a celebration of 100 years of Latter-day Saint missionary work in South America.
- Brazilian talent featured prominently, with Choir members Alan Silva and Alvaro Martins and global members Thalita Carvalho and Rodrigo Domaredzky on the roster, plus guest artists Fabi Bang, Myra Ruiz, and Nathan Pacheco.
