Suzuki Launches Jimny XL Rhino With A$10,000 Price Premium

The limited-run five-door special edition is a cosmetic-led effort to monetise the Jimny’s cult appeal through exclusive styling and a bundled merchandise pack.

Overview

  • Suzuki Australia launched the Jimny XL Rhino on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, has opened orders and expects deliveries to begin from July 1, 2026.
  • The Rhino is priced from A$44,990 for the five-speed manual and A$47,490 for the four-speed automatic, about A$10,000 more than the equivalent standard Jimny XL.
  • There are no mechanical changes: the Rhino keeps the 1.5-litre petrol engine (75 kW/130 Nm), five-speed manual or four-speed automatic gearboxes, and part-time four-wheel drive.
  • The special edition is cosmetic only and exclusive in Kinetic Yellow with Rhino decals, satin-silver trim, new 15-inch diamond-cut wheels, unique badging and a 'Rhino Go Pack' of branded accessories and chocolates.
  • Suzuki describes the Rhino as limited production with media reporting a 250-unit cap and regional ordering exclusions, reflecting the brand’s strategy of selling low-volume, higher-margin lifestyle editions to passionate Jimny buyers.
