Overview
- Suzuki is now selling the Swift Hybrid in Argentina with suggested prices of US$20,900 for the GLX MT and US$22,900 for the GLX CVT.
- The powertrain uses a 1.2-liter three-cylinder and a 12V mild-hybrid system that recovers braking energy, making it the first Suzuki sold in Argentina with this technology.
- Suzuki cites average fuel use of 4.3 L/100 km in mixed driving, a figure aimed at cutting day-to-day costs for city drivers.
- Both trims offer a 5-speed manual or a CVT automatic with front-wheel drive, plus a 9-inch touchscreen, six airbags, stability control, ABS with EBD, ISOFIX, and ADAS features including AEB, adaptive cruise, blind-spot and cross-traffic alerts, lane keep and centering, and auto high beams.
- Built in India and distributed by Inchcape, the Swift Hybrid enters under Argentina’s quota for electrified vehicles with no extra-zone tariff and carries a three-year or 100,000-km warranty.
