Suzlon Plans Three AI-Powered Blade Plants to Speed 6 GW Order Book

The push aims to convert a record pipeline into faster deliveries using AI-led manufacturing.

  • Suzlon said it will add three blade factories, with two proposed in Gujarat and Karnataka and a third location under evaluation, to accelerate project execution.
  • Management said the investments will come from the company’s existing annual capex of Rs 500–550 crore funded by internal accruals, with timelines and final sites yet to be disclosed.
  • The planned facilities will use integrated digital systems including MES/ERP, IoT, robotics and AI vision to raise productivity, quality and safety.
  • The company projects 3,000 direct and 12,000 indirect jobs from the new plants, with about 80% of the roles in rural areas.
