Overview
- Norrien Casminski, 18, was taken into custody Tuesday by the U.S. Marshals Service following Saturday’s shooting at the Town Center at St. Lucie West.
- Investigators say he shot Antoine Myers, 19, who died Monday from a head wound, and wounded Jermonti Johnson, 19, who is expected to recover.
- The encounter began at a Fort Pierce Walmart to buy and activate phones and moved to a white Tesla at the shopping center where the shots were fired.
- Two alleged associates were already jailed: driver Sharlett Nylav Key, 18, on a robbery charge, and Martravious Aaron Blue Jr., 19, on attempted second-degree murder and robbery with a firearm.
- Police said Monday the gun had not been found and noted they used drones, K-9 units, and search teams to track suspects and process multiple scenes.
